your tendons are probably sore. fliplops, you have to use your toes to grip your feet, so you basically gave them more of a workout than they're used to. My suggestion is to try and get a pedicure! they'll rub your feet to jelly and give you sparklin' nails

Agree partly w/ Charles...flip flops cause you to grip...prehensilly....like a monkey and you've overworked them. Not so sure a 'pedi' is the answer, tho? Maybe?.....Some Tylenol? take it easy-ish for a couple of days? And good sturdy shoes (ask where lesbians purchase their footwear) Hope you feel better. P.S. Did you find Jews this week?
Love dad

You might have to spend some $$ on very good shoes. Your dad's advice is pretty hysterical but good. I wonder if Birkenstocks would be soothing for your feet now. Maybe Merrills. Find some good shoe stores and pick their brains.

Could it be ingrown? Have you been cutting them nails regularly???? If this is the case, you should go get a pedicure... a hilarious process in and of itself, but much cheaper than going to the toe doc... yes, i admit it, i have had an ingrown toenail and i have gotten a pedicure. there.. i said it.

Honey,
I agree with the other responders. I think walking all day in flip-flops over taxed your feet. No support for your legs and body, too much pressure and stress on the toes - especially they were likely sweating a bit that then adds friction to the equation, A pedicure would be definitely soothing ~ and then wear a good pair of supportive shoes with socks!!

Keep us posted on this development. You DEFINITELY need a shoe with an arch support.

Loves ya!

Just now got a chance to read.

Is it better yet?

I'm going to dork out here:

When you grip your toes to keep the thongs on you overworked the tendons on the bottom of your feet and stretched the tendons on the top. You probably got micro tears. Ice is good in the beginning, but then after a week or so start to soak it in a warm tub and massage it. Massaging the top of your foot is best, but weird because there's not a lot to work with. It will get better itself, but really slowly if you keep walking all the time. Don't wear thongs at "home". Avoid them till you're completely better.

Are you constipated?
