Sorry you regretted not going to the synagogue. I recently went for the high holidays, for the first time, and I did not enjoy being relegated to the balcony. I like the dinners better. Recently I was told there were only 76 jews in Tangier TOTAL (including me.) This does not count the ethnic berber jews who are now basically muslim, but some of whom still admit their ancestry.
