Midpoints

I realize that some of these contradict one another, but whatever:

  • A lot of people in Spain use crutches–no one else notices this.
  • I sort of would like to go to undergrad again. Is that even allowed?
  • People in France read a lot. And all the books seem to have sober titles about philosophy. Subquestion: Are there any funny French comedians?
  • People–especially old people–riding bikes in Amsterdam is so sweet it gives me a cavity.
  • I heard Dire Straits 4 times while in Alicante, Spain for just two days.
  • Before you pick which foreign language you want to study, your middle school (or elementary) should put on a fair with all the rad shit and people that come from _________. Then your teachers should tell you that the only way to truly experience that place would be to speak the language.
  • Does anyone want to start a business?
  • Why don’t they just sell temporary spray paint a majority of the time? It seems like for most legitimate purposes, spray paint is only needed for a limited time and this would maybe make graffiti easier to get rid of.
  • I’m shocked there isn’t more hip-hop from Morocco.
  • I saw 2-4 transexuals travelling together from Tangier. Surely there’s a story there.
  • Without irony, the single-dread-mullet is really popular in Barcelona. Confusing.
  • Barcelona has really nice hotels.
  • Ice cream is really popular in Seville.
  • McDonald’s and Coca-Cola are amazing companies.
  • Portugal has a beer called Super Bock. Take that Shiner!
  • I don’t purposefully mean to make everyone sigh, but, to me, the Southern Gulf Coast seems like the area of America where a regional train system could be the most “European.”
  • Cinco de Mayo is nigh!
